We are not currently taking new deposits for puppy sales.

Puppy Prices:

  • TGK Puppy Prices $2000 @ 8 weeks of age with limited registration, picked up at our kennel address.
  • Litter will be selected both parties determined to best meet the customer’s needs and goals with gender, markings and trait preferences.
  • Once a non-refundable $500.00 deposit and signed “TGK Purchase Agreement” is received the customer will be added to a litter list for first available selection at that time. Selection process will be in order of deposits received. No verbal commitments will be accepted!
  • Deposit will be deducted from final purchase price at time of pickup.
  • Fees for health papers will be added to the purchase price. Certified veterinarian health certification paper as required by state for all dogs leaving the state of Iowa.
  • 7% Sales tax will be added to invoice with purchase price and other items purchased. 
  • Pickup date will be set at the time of the litter announcement. A $25 fee will be charged for every day after the pick-up date is set.
  • There will be a $1,000 additional fee added for shipping cost by air in the USA which includes shipping crate, health paper, fees from airline and added time including travel to airport.

TGK Puppy Packet:

  • Completed verification of vaccination chart with individual dates for developing a healthy immune system.
  • Feeding program with recommendations.
  • AKC Limited registration papers with “full registration” as an option available.
  • Written 26 – month health and satisfaction guarantee in our TGK Purchase Agreement. 
  • 4 generation pedigree with health certifications available and AKC title recognition on proven sires and dams.
  • Copies of health certifications of sire and dam of litter. 
  • Training support will be provided after the purchase or Saturday morning hands on training at our Kennel business by appointment only.

Started and Finished German Shorthairs

Our started and finished dogs with previous commitment will be priced at:

  • $7,000 – 6 months of age with basic obedience, bird/gun exposure.
  • $9,500 – 8 months of age with collar conditioning.
  • $12,000 – 12 months of age with retrieve training and wild bird exposure.

TGK Stud Fees

We will only breed to approved females using progesterone test prior to mating with the following health certifications for natural, chilled or frozen semen.

  • PenHIP within breed standard or OFA Excellent will be excepted.  
  • OFA or CERF Eyes with “normal” rating only. Breeder Options will be taken into consideration.
  • Current brucellosis test with negative results for live matings.
